The ISO9001:2008 certification acknowledges the efficient processes of FIME’s operations, including its people, training, services and product development processes, for example, its tool manufacturing, engineering and laboratory testing. This latest ISO standard adds to FIME’s existing ISO17025 laboratory certification, which reflects the company’s testing and calibration processes.

The next stage in FIME’s quality initiative will see the company work towards achieving Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI-Dev level 2) compliance for its software development processes.
